HIV/AIDS Adults' Program Objectives

• To promote positive living among the people living with HIV/AIDS.

• Involve the families in the process of care and support of the people living with HIV/AIDS

• To extend awareness on HIV/AIDS outside Moroto Municipality to prevent new infections and re-infections in three villages per quarter.

• To empower women with knowledge and skills for them to be self-reliance and improve in their livelihood.

Activities carried out

• Home visits
• Hospital visits
• Individual Counselling and Individual review, group guidance and counselling and family guidance/ counselling
• Group meetings and sharing
• Volunteers networking meetings
• Treatment supporter’s meetings

• General client’s meeting
  
• Income generating Activities (IGA) support
• Psycho-social support
• Referral to the hospital as needed.
• Follow up in the Voluntary Counselling and Test, in Moroto hospital.
• Community awareness campaigns.
• Participating in the World Aids Day at district level
