Our History
CLHBC is a Community Based Organisation founded by the Sacred Heart Sisters in Moroto, Karamoja region in 2007. Together with a group Volunteer and Educators CLHBC promotes positive living and care for HIV/AIDS people including children affected and infected. Later we formed a group of educators to mentor the children of our clients and to continue promoting positive living as well as promoting human dignity among the children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Objectives
- Holistic accompaniment of clients, provision of psycho-social support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their children.
- Provide a sense of solidarity among clients and readiness to help each other.
- Prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among the children both affected and infected.
- Reduce stigma and discrimination.
- Improve the lives of children in the community through education, peace building, health promotion and empowering them with cultural values and life skills.
